Средство сокращения общей величины внешней задолженности и облегчения условий по обслуживанию внешнего долга. Порядок финансовых расчетов, установленный для многих стран-должников, предусматривает выполнение долговых обязательств перед кредиторами в виде векселей и акций, оцененных в национальной валюте.
